Where is the site located?

Pheasant Hill Caravan & Motorhome Park is situated at the north end of Burneston village, near to Bedale in North Yorkshire.

Our postcode is a reliable DL8 2HT.

Do you accept tents?

Unfortunately we do not cater for tents.

We can however recommend local sites if you wish.

What are your charges?

Low Season:

1st January – 30th June 2022
1st September – 31st December 2022

Cost: £20 per night.

Peak Season:

1st July – 31st August 2022

Cost: £24 per night.

All prices include VAT.

What is included in that price?

  • Use of wet-room facilities

What do you charge for extras?

  • Awnings: No charge but we must be notified at time of booking if you are to use an awning
  • Extra Person: £3 per person, per night
  • Extra Car: £2 per car, per night
  • Late Departure: £3 if available
  • Dogs: Free of charge, max 3 dogs

Is there a minimum stay period?

All Bank Holiday weekend bookings must be a minimum of 3 nights, on all pitches.

Weekends from May to September must be a minimum of 2 nights.

Do you require a deposit on booking?

We require a non-refundable 20% deposit when making your booking.

If your booking is for one night only, full payment of the balance is required immediately.

If the full balance is not received within the required timescale then staff will attempt to contact you. If they are unable to make contact, the booking will be cancelled.

When is full payment required?

Full payment of the balance of your holiday is payable 14 days before arrival. All extras must be paid for, even if you were not aware that an item that you brought was a chargeable extra.

Do you allow seasonal pitches?

At the present time we are not offering seasonal pitches. This may however change in the future.

If you would like us to contact you if we do start offering Seasonal Pitches, then please email your details which we will keep on file for the future.

Do you provide wifi?

Unfortunately not at this point in time, but most phone providers have good reception in the locality.

When can we arrive and depart?

You will be allocated a specific pitch in your booking confirmation email. On arrival, please head to your individual pitch.

Guests are welcome to arrive between 1.00pm and 6.00pm. Any arrival prior to 1.00pm must be agreed with us when booking. Guests arriving after 6.00pm are asked to contact the park.

During school term time we would ask people to avoid arriving between 3.00 – 3.30pm, where possible.

All pitches must be vacated by 11.30am on the day of your departure unless you have pre-booked late departure. Guests paying for late departure are asked to vacate by 3.00 pm, or later by prior agreement.

Do you accept large group bookings?

We accept bookings from families, couples and singles.

We do not accept bookings from large groups, unless booked through a recognised organisation or association (e.g. a uniformed organisation).

We do not accept hen or stag groups.

Are we allowed visitors during our stay?

If anyone is coming to visit you during your stay they must notify us in person, via email or text/call and pay the non-residential visitor fee before accessing the park.

They will be directed where to park their car by staff.

You are responsible for their behaviour while they are on site and for ensuring that they adhere to these terms and conditions.

Site visitors must leave the site no later than 9.00pm.

Do you allow dogs?

Our conditions surrounding dogs are to be strictly observed.

We ask prospective guests to read these conditions carefully and consider whether the site will be suitable for their dog(s), in particular that you understand that you will NOT be able to exercise your dog(s) off the lead at any time while on site.
